I write to think things through rigorously-often about structural issues in society no one talks about, because I want to start a conversation around them. These essays are attempts to pursue an idea until it either holds or breaks - not to perform certainty, but to test it. Some of them changed what I believed. A few of them are probably wrong in ways I haven't caught yet.
